SO I should un plug the sensor or just the vac hose?

There's 89 2wd build and titled trucks with 4.0.In 1989 Ranger, 2.3l 4cyl, or 2.9l V6, were only engine options?
4.0l swap?
The 4.0l Computers all used MAF sensors no MAP sensor, and no BAP sensor, barometric pressure was "inferred" by MAF and Throttle sensor
The fact its plugged in means at least some of engine harness is from a 2.9l
So a little more detail on this vehicle would be needed

They are really 90....but I ha e seen them as family members owned them
The 1st 4.0,s did have bap sensors and no NGS.
Neutral gear switch.Never even read about that
