Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.
How do you like it? I need a liner.
I will say that prep was easy enough and it applies well, and the little bit of texture is nice.

Other than that.. I don't have total confidence in the herculiner holding up long term for someone that REALLY uses the bed. I put on nearly the entire gallon, and I don't think the layer of herculiner is even 1/3 as thick as what you'd get from a professional coating.

If I were to DIY a bed again I'd probably go with Monstaliner. It comes in a bunch of colors which is cool, but you also mix catalyst into it.. supposed to stop the UV fade and leaves you with a much harder/tougher surface.

From what I’ve seen, Herculiner is ok as long as it isn’t left uncovered. I did the bed on the ‘98 and the bed interior held up fine. The stuff I put on to wrap around over the bed rails and over the sides cracked and flaked off over time.

The factory spray in liner I got on the 2019 seems to be better but I don’t know who Ford uses for that.

The truck we have at work has a spray on liner in an exposed bed and it is pealing and flaking off. I suspect poor surface prep based on what I’ve seen of the bed under the peeled up sections.

Since @Jim Oaks is probably not going to cover the bed, I would suggest getting it done professionally by a shop that does Line-X. I’ve seen nothing but good reviews on the product. Or find out who Ford uses for their bed lining and pay to get that done.

TRS3 is almost an advertisement too.. having the absolute best quality product put on it would definitely be the way to go imo.

Might be able to get a local shop to cover the cost of the materials or Labor to install.

Gave it the final vacuum/windex/wipe with 303.

Leaving on our potential last ride in the thing 8am tomorrow, and on a test drive in a bronco by 1030. Test drive is kinda pointless to be honest.. but it'll pass some time while they assess the ranger.

Got the level kit installed. 1.5” from Truxxx. After two failed attempts myself, the second with some help from @sgtsandman, I took it to a shop near my office. Guy knocked it out in 2.5 hours including an alignment. Ready for Carlisle.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

And if it really travels that straight line, you’ll get it quick.

Good luck with that.
I don’t see any stop signs… it should be real quick.
