Unloaded junk from my mom’s house in the dark so I used the jellyfish launcher button.

Not today but I installed a Putco grill insert in the lower bumper opening to protect the intercooler from kicked up or thrown road debris and rocks.

It required that I move the plug for the block heater to a less ideal location but it’s cheaper to repair or replace a plug than an intercooler.

Not the Ranger but my daughter's Fiesta. Been accumulating stuff for a while.
Cabin air filter, air filter, plugs, oil and filter, Techron fuel system cleaner.
Had parts and wrenches laid out in the driveway for when she rolled up.
It went about how I expected, took me a little over an hour and half that time was spent on the cabin air filter, which on a Fiesta is an incredible pain in the ass to change. I did that first before it got too dark.
Then I pulled it into the garage for more light, pulled the plug boots off so they'd cool a bit, did the air filter, plugs, then drove it up the ramps to change the oil. Torque spec on the plugs is 12 ft lb, so I've been way overtightening plugs all my life. For 124,000 miles the old plugs looked pretty good.
She bought the car new in 2014. For minimal maintenance except for twice a year when I change the oil and swap the winter and summer tires, it's still chugging along fine.

I installed an oil pan warmer on the transmission oil pan now that the transmission has a metal pan. It was a tight squeeze to get it installed on the small section on the rear of the pan but got it done. If the weather allows, I’ll plug it in for the specified amount of time the directions recommend to soften the adhesive and make sure the bond is sold today. It stuck pretty well yesterday. So, I think it’s fine but the little extra won’t hurt anything.

Well 45000+ miles and 3 years I finally had to break down and do it. Had to change the wiper blades out haha. I also got the new brake line installed and bled out all the fluid that I could and went back with some DOT 4 super. I read online it was the same as LV. None of the auto parts had LV but Oriellys carried Super so I used it. I did notice that my pedal is soft again. I bled the system good. With the Dot 3 in there it was a lot firmer of a pedal. Guess that's the difference in the thickness of the 2 fluids.

I installed the mount for the safety flag while off roading. The thing has been sitting in the garage for quite some time. I found two holes in the bumper bracket that easily allowed the drilling of a hole in the plastic cap and allowing for a good, strong mount. Yes, I drilled through the wrong hole at first. I filled the hole with RTV and will trim it with a razor blade once it's cured. I'll notice it. Forum members may notice it. But I doubt the general population will.

What did you use for attaching the plastic retainer to the boot? I got the replacement boot in for the parking brake and the shifter but the instructions only say to use a suitable glue. Otherwise, the replacement instructions are pretty straight forward.
I used crazy glue. The parking brake boot was easy. The shifter boot was a little more work.

I’ll have to check that out. I see straps on the side going into the door seals. This isn’t a permanent mount?
Yeah it's supposed to be removable just like a set of naked roof crossbars. Only complaint I heard is it's noisy over 40. That being said I hardly get over 40 around here and never on a trail when I need the extra cargo room

Is Intercooler damage a real concern, meaning does it happen with some regularity?

Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.

I didn't recieve any damage to mine in the time I owned it, and nobody I know that has a road scraping import with a big exposed FMIC has ever complained about needing to replace theirs.. we get some big icy snowbanks up here too..

Peace of mind though.
