i regularly do 95 on the freeway i have a stock 94 4 banger with nothing and it needs a tune up!
still i usually go faster than everybody down here i pass the ferreris and porsches once i get goin....i donty use 5 th its useless ha ha ha
i run used tires ( ha ha) but they are 16 inches and i can bury the speedo
i usually dont notice muc shakin or anythin but then again im listening to the music with the windows rolled down
but i do know if i roll them up i could go faster!!!

I've hit about 100, speedo stops at 85 but I kinda measured the distance of ten and five and I was about there, actually pointing dead south.

Did it in 4th gear, at that point I decided to let off, dry rotted separating tires, dried/cracked timing belt, and shot wheel bearings, OH BOY IT WAS FUN!!!

Oh, and my seatbelt doesn't latch, haha

Used to have an 01 Sonoma, resistors kicked in at 98 so any freeway or highway I was on the cruise was set at 97.5, in between I was driving my baby project truck, "Trigger" a 1965 F-100, it's top speed is about 75 maybe 80 and I really didn't want to push that worn engine so I mostly went about 55 everywhere in that.

So far tops has been around 111 km/hr...roughly translated to about 70 mph...but I feel it has something left over at that speed...just don't want to take it higher right now...not to mention the fact that that speed is actually above the legal speed limit in Ontario for highways...

Not sure how fast I was going but the needle was burried and couldn't go any further..
I was drafting a tractor trailer on I-75.. We made 200 miles in 1 hour 45 min. The truck an 89 2.3.... We was rolling :headbang:

This is my top speed in the "Shelby" so far but it will burry the needle and then some....
