Where do you guys get new D28 axle shafts/yokes?

I'm trying to help my dad out. He's got an 87 Ranger 4x4 with a lift kit and it's a great truck, but he's having a heck of a time finding a new axle shaft for his truck. It's winter here and he really needs his 4x4.

I have an inner passenger side shaft I'd get rid of for shipping...

Unfortunately this will likely have to be a junkyard item, as no one makes them new anymore that I know of. Most junkyard stuff is in pretty good shape though if it's not otherwise rusted to hell. Slap a new u-joint in it and it should be good to go.

Get em from another forum member, craigslist, ebay, or your local junk yard.

Though they have a better parts supply for the D35 than the D28

Thanks anyway, guys, but my dad needs the whole driver's side shaft assembly now. He has the u-joint, but needs both shafts because the outer yoke broke and the inner is all hammered out. Junkyards around here aren't helpful because almost everything is picked over or in similar condition and VERY rusty.
