Why didn't it lift more?

On the rear I did new shackles and perches. 3" longer than the stock ones. I cranked up the keys in front 1.5". The total lift I got in back was only 1.5".
I have new keys for the front, just waiting til I get the tool to do it (and time).
Shouldn't I have gotten 3" of lift in back? This is my first experience doing a lift myself.

The forward part of the rear springs stayed at the same height. So the axle moved 1/2 of the back of the rear springs. 1/2 of 3" is 1.5".....

Makes sense about only moving the back half of the spring. I figured it was something like that with it being exactly half of what the lift was supposed to be. I guess I just didn't think it through all the way.
