Will this carb work on my 84 ranger 2.3?

Hi, I hate all the crap on the ranger I just got. I do not have to go through DEQ in my area and I have already removed the cat, egr system, air/smog pump. next I want to get rid of the MCU and all the vacuum lines that are a part of it, also I want a new carb, I found this one

The mount looks the same and the throttle linkage looks like it would hook right up. I want to know your thoughts. I want this carb so I don't have to change the intake manifold and I am not trying to make crazy power, just a SUPER simple truck and very reliable.
Here's the stock Carb

Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

I could not tell if that would fit or not and without placing the unit on the intake or having previous knowledge of the carb I wouldn't be sure just eyeballing it.

If you have the specs on the opening that would help you decide...the bolt patterns may or may not match so it's a carp shoot...

I've never seen the carb before but that doesn't account for much...it said it was a Ford carb but it could be out of an old six in-line engine...

I would search the web a bit more to find out if anyone else has used it on a 2.3 intake...or maybe someone on here has, but I've never heard of it...

Thanks for the reply. I did some research and everything adds up. I'm going to order it and install it. I'll post a picture if it works. It'll be nice because the carb is just a tad more CFM than the stock carter does. And it doesn't have any of the electronic junk.
