Where is the FRIGGIN' backup lamp switch???

Like the title says, where is it. I have the lights wired up, and they stay on constantly, so I need to check the backup lamp swithch. Is it in the steering column or on the transmission??????

Drove the bronco around the block last night!!!!

Found it. Anyone know if the cable that hooks up to the switch is wired differently from a 91 explorer than an 89 bronco ii? We used the cable from the explorer.

When I replaced my A4LD with an M5OD I spliced in the connector from the Explorer. Please note that this statement is given assuming you're referring to the connector on the trans itself...right?
