to answer youy questions

1. That was a complete engine kit , and i got it through the parts store that is actuall in the senior auto building at college

2. My truck came from the factory with the 'B' torsion bars , i am going to upgrade to the '1' bars that came on the FX4's

and thanks for the compliment , i am hoping to have the engine back together and goin in next week

I just read through the entire post and I have to say, way to keep at it. I love reading build threads were so much is getting done and in many different areas.

Keep up the good work. Hope you get it all back together soon.

well this whole project got put on hold , my boss' boss at work neede a trans for his girlfriends explorer , he found out i had the one i rebuilt and is willing to give me $450 plus his old trans for it (i have $180 in it). Then i killed the 4.0 in my Daily Driver 97 so i am putting the engine i built for this truck into that one. so now the plan for this truck is to get the Engine/Trans/PCM/Harness from a 5.0 explorer and do a 347 Stroker for it.

Looks like the jack was in a fire. Other than that I don't see anything abnormal.
