My clutch is starting to grab almost right away when i start to let it out. And when i press in on my clutch it is real soft till about halfway then it feels normal the rest of the way. Also while driving it is hard to shift into any gear, especially 1st and reverse. All these things seem to happen no matter if it is warmed up or cold. i'm not sure if this is a sign that my clutch is going out or what. The clutch doesnt seem to be slipping it just seems like it isnt disengageing completely but i havn't smelled burning either. does anyone have ideas that this could be.

sounds like it may need to be bleed or it could need a master cylinder/slave cylinder

typicial slave is going away. Or the master. More likely the slave. That always goes out long before the master. Get ready to drive clutch-less here pretty soon...

The slave is only about a $70 part. Labor rate would be about the same as a clutch replacement. I honestly can't give you a ball park....I do all my own work. While the trans is out, might as well put a new clutch in it as well(something about $150-250) for good measure.
