Okay, looks like it wont be done in time for me leaving for college on Friday morning, sadly, but if I can get the money for coolant and a battery, it'll be a freaking miracle.

I got it now. :D

Towed this heavy thing 5 hours one way with my truck.

She runs pretty good and drives when gas is poured down the carb. Accelerator pump is frozen. My friend might rebuild the carb for me or I might get a new one.

New Plans:
Remove drive train.
Put the removed drive train into my F-100.
Giving the truck and thread over to my friend who helps me with fixing my trucks.

My Friend's plans:
Frame off restoration
Install 3/4 ton suspension
Put another BBF in it (Carbed or TBI)
Set it up to tow
Run it until it dies (then fix it)

(Pics sometime in the next few days)

Pretty cool to see it's staying in the "community" and that it gets to live on.

For what you paid, it sounds like a steal!

The heart sounds good.

Frozen Accelerator pump. The only thing keeping it from running.

How do you paint fiberglass without ruining it? also, how do I patch fiberglass? there is a crack in the corner of it, and its about 4" long, and should I drill the ends of the crack to keep it from getting larger?
Get a grinder, and a good bit of sand paper, grind the crack down till you have a valley. Be sure to sand out at least 2-3 inches all the way around the crack. Sand it down really well, then got to a auto parts store, get some fiberglass, and at least a 2 part resin. Take that cut it into small strips slowly getting wider as you go, btw use weaved fiberglass, it is much easier to work with IMO. Don’t do more than 3 layers over fiberglass at a time, let you resin harden and then sand it down smooth. Repeat that until you get the fiberglass above the origial fiberglass. Then sand it down smooth. And paint it the color of your choosing. Good luck. Let me know if there is any other questions on body work. One last thing DONT bondo it:icon_thumby:
