I have a 4.0 SOHC. I smashed the truck side O2 connector. Im looking for a picture of how to wire a used pigtail with different color wire in. Im working on the upstream, bank 1, passenger side (right side if sitting in drivers seat U.S.A.). If anyone has time to post a picture of their wiring harness going into the connector with at least 3 of the 4 wire colors that would be much appreciated! The rear pigtail I obtained from a salvage yard fits my O2 sensor but has different color wires. This picture is my truck side (engine harness) wiring. Thanks for your time.

Here's a diagram of the 3 oxygen sensors. The diagram doesn't say which sensor is in which location. But looking at your picture, I see a red/white wire. The only sensor in the diagram that has a red/white wire is the one all the way to the right side of the diagram.

Lightblue/orange is the power wire for the heater on all the O2 sensors.

Red/white is the negative for the heater on the sensor wires in your picture.

Orange is the negative signal wire for all O2 sensors

You should have a grey/lightblue wire in your picture. That is the + signal wire to the computer.

What are the colors on the junkyard pigtail? If you got it from a 2002, those colors should match one of the sensors in the attached diagram.

Truck side has orange = ground signal?

Light blue w orange stripe = heater power?

Light blue w white stripe (not a grey/light blue) = + signal pcm ?

Red w white stripe = - heater?

Junkyard pigtail came off rear of a ranger and not a 4.0L

Orange
White w black stripe
Blue w orange stripe
Red w green stripe

It plugs ino O2 sensor perfect. THANKS FOR YOUR TIME!
