i took my edge in for an alignment and wheel balance and they told me i need to buy a camber bolt kit for the front because the factory washers are not eccentric so the camber is not adjustable. they said they didn't do the alignment because of that.

i asked was the truck not at the correct height so the camber should be correct? they said the height was good but the camber is still off.

do they make camber kits for torsion bar front ends? do i really need a camber kit or is this some type of trickery to part more money from me? they gave me no print out and did the balance on the wheels. the truck runs fine and doesn't pull left or right. it looks good from the front so i have on idea if i really need it or not?

i have heard of those kits but not on a torsion bar suspension set up.

It still has upper control arms and that is where you adjust camber. The bolts that retain the upper arms need the eccentric washers to make the adjustment.

I'm also moving this post to the correct forum.

Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.
I have a SLA 2wd camber kit kicking around somewhere... if it'll fit your truck you can have it for the cost of shipping.

Short/long arm. Different setup but the bolts might be the same?

I'm not entirely sure if this kit will apply to your vehicle in particular, and this is on Canadian Amazon.

But it may be the solution you're looking for, it allows for camber adjustment in the upper control arms. Just make sure to buy two sets!
