cheap suspension lift

I run 33's on the rear and 31's on the front. A buddy of mine has four matching 32 inch tires that never run. Theoretically a 3 inch body lift should fit up to a 38 inch tire. I would imagine youl need wheel spacers though. I turned my torsion bars for an inch lift in the front just to level out my different size tires. I don't like the idea of using the tbars as a lift kit. Seems like it'd be more likely to break.

A body lift does not increase ground clearance. It gives more room for bigger tires. The tires are ultimately what lift the axle and the whole truck. But of course if you get a tire 3 inches bigger than what your riding now. That's a 1.5 inch lift since the difference in diameter is spread both up from the wheel as it is down from the wheel.
