The pics dont really do it justice. We had to beat the door frame out to get the door back on. I am not going to chop it. I dont care about the roof. I'll just get a new fender and beat the window frame in place to get another window in.

Yeah I Wouldn't chop it either, not practical if you are driving it on the road. Sucks about the damage but its out of the way now and you won't sweat the small stuff anymore. I always used to worry about scratches then I took a tree stump to the panel under my rear side window and that was that.

Took my window frame out to see how difficult it will be for my trip to the junkyard. Wasn't too bad.

Also eyeballin some heims for a possible Stonecrusher style steering. After a bit of searching, you all think 3/4 heims would be about right? And what are the misalignment spacers for?

3/4 would be good for the knuckle and center-ish pivot....but a 5/8 would be better for the pitman arm end......

the mis-alignment spacers offsets the "ball" of the Heim from the mounting surface allowing more articulation of the joint.....

good to hear about the glass:icon_thumby:

now think about swapping in a auto tranny:D:thefinger::thefinger:

nope.....still say auto....

if he had an auto, it wouldn't have never bogged down and died on him at that crucial moment.....

just sayin'........:D:thefinger::thefinger:

5/8 bolt might be a bit small on the pitman arm, I only had to open up the pitman arm a little to get the 3/4 bolt in, and I like having the big hardware. Here is a pic of the system, overall i'm happy I just need to mod the pass side link so the saddle doesn't bind on the axle drop bracket

Picked up a 96+ master cylinder and rear quarter glass today. Decided against a fender for now. There are no gen 2 B2s in the JY and I dont want it to say Ranger. On top of that, they want $35 for one. I figured $15 or so, but thats too much. I may try to beat mine back into shape.

For $7.50, I'm not too worried about it.
