Pretty crazy situation, but I hit a deer first, it went under my passenger side tire, my truck pulled to the right and put me into a slide, went off the road and hit a tree.

Sorry about your truck

Still workin on it, nothing picture worthy yet.

Should I box the frame? Gonna need to decide it soon and I keep going back and forth on it. HELP!

And I did a photo chop on it so i can see if I like it with a shorter box....

Chop the box imo. Or if you do a bedcage, at least hang the fenders so it LOOKS like it has a box. Haha.

short beds always look good... even if they are only 3 or 4 feet long.

Hack the fenders, run a tube bedcage and hang them on it.

i'm guessing this will never see road use again? I'm stuck on the look of the box on the expidetion ranger, short box looks cool make sure its big enough for a tool box for the off road essentials, if this is a dedicated trail rig, it will see some HEAVY use, box the frame, you want your flex in the suspension, not the frame, IMHO, lovin this build by the way, really like the progress.

The plan is to keep it steet legal. I am going to have the fuel tank in the bed also, so room will be tight.

I am going to keep the bed for now, just bob/shorten it. Also I am going to box the frame, I will start on that tonight most likely making templates. I need to box it so I can figure out my crossmember mounts.
