just working a lot, kinda got screwed over with work being slow, but I got my drop kit for the mini ranger last night. wont be able to put it on for a few months since I have to go to a friends wedding that is down a bumpy 13 mile long dirt road for memorial day, but after that its getting dropped :) the big ranger has been parked :/

nothing really besides work and school, both full time so i dont even have truck play time anymore. ^^saturday was an exception since i went home for that weekend. this schedule is gonna kill me though. staying up till 1 or 2 each morning finishing homework then getting up at 6 for work. fun stuff right?? currently shopping for a commuter, looking for a little 2.3 ranger or 22re pickup. gas down here driving my ranger is killing my wallet at $4 a gal everywhere and filling up 2-3 times a week. for the last week ive been driving a company truck, just waiting for the 5.4 to shoot a plug at me lol.

whats everyone else been up to? wake up!

Yeah I feel ya. I have a 96 3/4ton dodge that hasn't moved in over a year due to fuel prices and registration costs. $300 a year plus insurance and it gets 10mpg unless I'm on the freeway. I bought a Honda CRV and it saved me 300 a month just in fuel and that's even with the $200 monthly payment!

My ranger's getting close to being mechanically finished. Just waiting on my strong box from behemoth to get here to finish it up. I finished my long arms, installed high steer, swapped in a refurbished front axel housing and I've been stiffening up the frame with a couple cross members. Now I'm gonna figure out the instrument cluster. Gonna pull the stock gauges out, install V8 gauges and dual tank gauges where the warning lights used to be. I'm gonna rewire the dash lights too.

a lot. at least 3k for boxed uppers and lowers, another grand going to coilovers, and at least $800 to a grand in fab work for the frame cutting/plating, and engine cage. i wont stop there either lol. i want fabbed uprights right D44 5 bolt snouts. and if im gonna go that wide, i need a new rear axle to match. so for the time being my midtravel will suffice. not as smooth as i want it to be, but it handles great. still waiting to get my 2.0 shocks installed up front. a well tuned shock will do wonders!

Hey Morgan if you know of anyone interested I've got a 9" housing with axel shafts but no 3rd member or brakes. It has 5x4.5 bolt pattern. Isn't that what rangers are? It's been so long since I've messed with stock ranger stuff I can't even remember lol. I sanded the whole thing down then painted it black. I'll take 100 for it and you can tell them what ever you want and keep the rest.

i might pick it up for myself but i have a feeling its not the 9in id want. whats the width flange to flange? 5x4.5 is ranger bp that im currently still running for now (itll have to change with d44 snouts, meaning new methods :( ). the 9in that had that bp factory was the one from the lincoln versilles i think. not as wide as say a bronco 9in. also if you can tell me what the spline count is and if its a big bearing thatd be great. but im interested. either for me or resale.

Im a train conductor for union pacific.

I went through storage today, found a ton of ranger parts laying around lol. found like 3 or 4 factory decks and all kinds of interior parts, power mirrors from I think an 06 and up ranger, and radio bezels from rangers and expos and ummmmm OHC stuff and a few sets of the 02 and up head lights. time for ebay!

I would drive the big truck but its like a 600+ mile round trip and the front end on my truck is toast. plus getting 15 mpg vs 25 for 600+ miles makes a big difference. I need new ball joints, on the lowers, one new upper ball joint, I have no cv axles in it anymore, needs a new tie rod end and needs an allignment. I dont wanna drive it till it gets a solid axle so it will sit for now.
