I don't want to be the only Ford or RBV there so everybody that can come needs to!

I had my axles ready to go, and most of the parts I needed, and it took me over a month working on it all day every day. Then again, I'm anal as all get out though.
I also used stock drive shaft front and rear, no modification. Just used a conversation u joint

keep the TTB setup! and go d44! much easier than shelling out the coin for cut and turned d35 beams. im probably the only one on this forum who wants to see something stay independent in the front...

Not the only one morgan, ill hopefully be doing a prerunner before too long, just need to finish school first.
Straight axle is just way cheaper, easier, and more straightforward. Not to mention better for low speed rockcrawling

Well, my head is spinning with all the research I'm doing. I'm getting way ahead of myself and need to drink a beer or 30 and just enjoy what I have ffs.
This was bought after originally looking to buy a freakin' golf cart to get work done around my property. LOL!
Maybe I'll need to get a 2WD Ranger for my go fast desert runs but that'll come later :)

A ifs/ttb crawler would probably be way smoother than a SAS. But damn that would be expensive to build!

Sure has been slow on here lately. What's everybody been up to?
I've been busy with the new job, getting settled back in Cali, trying to get caught up on some bills. Been dinking around with the BMW alot lately. Race tracks, skid pads, cheapish tires, it's great fun.:D
The BII's been parked for a year now. I need to work on it, but I have no desire to.
This is exactly what I've been searching for... a Nor Cal specific forum! I'm new here. Picked up my second Bronco II 2 weeks ago. (first was way back in High School, 20+ years ago)

It's a 1986 2.9:

I need some help both on here and in person most likely (not immediately, I'm still in the planning and saving cheddar stage). I'm almost positive I want to go with some full width axles. I *thought* I wanted to do a SAS on it, but after reading more, I believe a better solution for my needs would be a full width TTS, so how easy would it be to swap for instance the axles out of a 1986 F150/Bronco? Lots of fabrication, or would it be more or less a simple bolt on?
Finally!!! another BII. Welcome to the circus.
SAS is the right choice. SAS is the only choice. Let me know when you want to do it.:icon_thumby:

Jester, is your B2 EB or full width?

I'm down in Galt by the way.

Hey kevery are you going to go to the poker run by shaver this year? I'm trying to get my rig finished for it. It'll be next month on memorial weekend I believe.
What run is memorial weekend? I am hoping to have my truck together by then.
