Yes, you can train a Gas Monkey to sit under the hood and dump gas in now and then
But all my Spark Monkeys walked off the job, seems they don't like getting shocked any more that we do, go figure, and getting the two monkeys on the same page for load advance, forget about it

Trunk Monkeys :)

I didnt say it WAS analog, I said that if I had to drop that 2.8 in it, that it WOULD BE as I would start that conversion by removing every single piece of computer hardware out of it. I have built a number of vehicles and done this.

The 4.88 gears are on it for the fact I run a 30" tire. Had I kept the 4.10s that were in it with the original P215s....I would be having to put a new transmission in it once a year. lol

Is there an instant private message feature on this site by chance that I could talk to you directly? Or do you by chance use Telegram? had a couple of things to ask you that are rather involved on this.

put the cursor over the other users picture/avatar, then select start conversation. that will only go to the other user.
replies will be under the envelope next to your user name at the top right status bar.

My credo
Nothing is so difficult it cannot be overcome by brute force and ignorance =8-)
Interesting thread, my 2.5's fuel economy rarely gets above 20MPG, when first I bought it 25 ~ 29 was routine, 5 speed box and stock tires, no mods whatso ever as this is a stripper work truck .

I'm old too and Rob ~ you're dead wrong : once a carby is properly set up one DOESN'T NEED TO TOUCH IT ~ those pops and bangs it emits are ignition problems, sticky valves and so on .

Anyway, I just bought a new N02 sensor and will install it soon, I hope it helps with the fuel economy .

I thought my truck only has the -one- down stream sensor......
