The EB axles are LP.

Do they have the same size carrier as the full width 44's? I have a locker and 4.88's for a LP I'm just wondering if they would fit.

Only thing not interchangable between HP and LP are the gears themselves.

That's what I thought. What about the knuckles for that? They're the same as a 79 bronco's right?

I have 78-79 Bronco/150 knuckles on the EB axle (the 75 EB44 was drum factory) All the half ton disk stuff is the same. The steering arms moved up or down .5" or so from year to year though I think as did the size of TRE hole. But if you are drilling for rod ends or GM TREs, it doesn't really matter.

Oh ok I'm interested. I will be able to tell you yes or no the middle of next month. Mainly I'm interested in the chromos. I have a LP with the gears and locker set up in it. I'm thinking about having it narrowed to accept the eb shafts.
