Ive only seen one 1354m ever in the junkyard that just happen to be in an explorer. Every rbv around here is automatic. I'm glad I found one off craigslist for $75

$75 is a good price if it had the shifter included.

They are fairly common around here since we have quite a few yards with good inventory turnover so if you need an RBV part its just a matter of looking around.

I got my manual case from ^^^ I like the yards we have though the one on Colfax has like 3 manual cases from BII's and explorers

Only problem with BII is they only came in the last year 90. I have never seen an Explorer with one at the pull yard. 89 and older all have the 1350 which is only good for a doubler. Yeah I don't come across them much so I figured I would grab it while I was there. Figured it would be cool to have manual shift.

On another note I am having issues with my A4LD not locking the torque converter in 3rd or 4th gear. My cruise is not working either which I wondering if that had anything to do with it. I checked wires to the tranny this morning and changed the speed sensor didn't make difference. Also checked the fuses only one is blown and every time I plug a new fuse in it blows. Does anyone know where I can find diagram for a 92 Ranger fuse panel. I love chasing down gremlins people leave behind when they sell there car. If I can't figure it out truck is getting a M5OD. LOL

LOL I will be throwing it in Rock Ranger this weekend along with my Coors Light handle. But if I come across another 1354M I will let you know.

With the stock ranger steering pump, did you have any problems with the hydro assist? Was it able to keep up?

It is ok I have a Saginaw pump for it. We did TNT the other night no more whine and he says his steering is so easy to turn now. The pump is a dime a dozen way easier to find then Tbird HD pump and pretty much the same thing. Once I have some time I will show what I used and how to mount it.

It is ok I have a Saginaw pump for it. We did TNT the other night no more whine and he says his steering is so easy to turn now. The pump is a dime a dozen way easier to find then Tbird HD pump and pretty much the same thing. Once I have some time I will show what I used and how to mount it.

I have a Saginaw pump but reason I am asking is the steering box is shot and the one I want to swap I have already tapped it for fittings. I don't have time or money yet to swap to the Saginaw so was wanting to know if the ranger pump will work temporarily.
