I have a 1990 Bronco II 2wd that's been lowered with drop I beams and hangers. I'm wanting wider rims on back than front. I found some on ebay that offer 7" for front and 8" for rear in 17". They have a 0 offset with 4" backspace for front with 215/50 tires. 4 1/2" backspace for rear with 245/45. Best I can figure this setup will be even with the outside lip of bronco. This will also give me 1 1/2" gap from tire to the body. Is this enough room for travel? I don't want to hit the body with the tire when I hit a bump. I did some measuring and have 27" from ground to wheelwell (body). I have 4 5/8" on front from mounting point on rotor to the outside of lip on fender (even with body). 27" height on rear and 5 3/16" from mounting point on drum to outside edge of lip (even with body). Any help on what size will work?
