will a explorer front end bolt onto a ranger without any modifications?
gotta change out the radiator support, but other than that it will bolt on

Imagine this as your first vehicle!!!!!! Thats why they never made it, IMO. Too dangerous for the average joe.

gotta change out the radiator support, but other than that it will bolt on
Josh, you would be incorrect. Darkhorse1, the explorer fenders are 3 inches higher at the doors, and have a different contour. You have to cut the front 4 or 5 inches off of the explorer and weld it to the same cut ranger fender. The front bumper from an explorer will also not bolt right up, you need to cut the frame horns off the explorer and weld them to the ranger. The header panel and lights will bolt up to the ranger core support. The explorer front lighting (headlight and signal lights) wiring harness will also need to be grafted onto the ranger. I speak from experience, I have done this surgery to my 96 lowrider.

Especially with the premature slave cylinder failures!!

HI!... That's funny. Just shows you how far technology has come since this article. My 07 Ranger runs more than 1 second faster and 2 seconds faster 0-60 with a 4.0L V6. LOL! I'd still go for a V-8 though! :D
