And your comment continues down the same pattern I've noted in the past.

It may work for you just fine...

Myself... I had a set of Michelin Defenders that will drive circles around my current hybrid mud/all terrains... and any other mud tire I've ever owned on snow covered roads.

They work for you... enjoy your choice. But stop insulting people that don't agree with you.

Can we do that?
When did I insult anyone?

Sounds like you have no skill if you can't drive a 4x4 with lockers and MT tires in the snow without putting it in the ditch. It's not that difficult. We have way more mountains here than you do, they call WV the Mountain State for a reason.

That's not an insult, just a statement based on the provided information. It's not hard at all to keep a vehicle with MT tires on the road in the snow, I don't know where people come up with this stuff unless you are in fact a poor driver. Also the more it snows the better MT tires do than snow tires, you can go through deep snow with MT tires that would require chains with snow tires.

2400 sounds right to have a shop do a locker install for you. That doesn't sound terrible. The jeep guys pay that all the time

The shop got the best end of the deal for sure, $1300 for 3 hours of labor.

When I bought my B4000 the owner had just put on Michelin Defenders. So I got the truck with new defenders. Wow those tires were tires. Great in wet/dry/snow. They are quiet and wear well.
