What would keep you from having your parts powder coated red, and having some Skyjacker stickers slapped on there?
I'm not saying it would be the "right" thing to do, but it's a thought.
I'll send an email.

For the sake of keeping junk that SHOULD be off the road unlicensable, I hope their inspectors will be smarter then that..... :dunno:

There were federal laws in place before this policy came out that stopped any real junk from being on the road. No stacked lift blocks, max 29.5" bumper height, ect. This one is targeted to make it hard for lifted vehicles to exist at all.

It's not as if it was just a free for all before this.

Here is what I sent them:

As a licensed safety inspector, professional automotive technician, and vehicle modification specialist I have reviewed your proposed policy on lifted and higher-than-stock rid height vehicles. Frankly, it is asinine. You are targeting vehicles that, if they already comply to the laws currently in place, should be more than safe enough to operate normally on a public road, barring of course, the possibility of the driver himself being a complete and total retard who should not be driving anyway. In my opinion the whole thing should just be abandoned as it is quite clearly a ploy to force the general population into either selling off their modified, but still street safe, off-road vehicles, or making them off-road only, and in either even forcing them into purchasing a new vehicle for use on road. This is despicable and deplorable. I am not from the Saskatchewan area, but was planning a trip there next year with my off-roading group as a member of an off-roader forum told us there was good wheeling in the province during winter. After learning of this new proposed policy we are seriously considering canceling this trip and selecting a different destination since many of our vehicles will not meet these new laws and none of us want to get a citation for anything while we are in the area. We also with this change of destination with to protest the tyrannical and unethical government prosecution of our brother wheelers.

Your post is poorly written and hard to read. It made my head hurt, please consider revising and punctuating it.:icon_welder:

They're in a government-run country, Canada gave up it's right to freedom and liberty when they decided to let the government handle everything.

Which is why we need to take a stand against our government invading every part of our lives... it's already started, we have Government Motors now... I know it sounds doom and gloom and right-wing conspirist to say something like that, but anyone who thinks that because the government runs GM now it'll still be business as usual is an idiot. They've already decided that they want to push "green" cars on everyone and use GM to manufacture and sell them...

That sucks to hear about the idiotic laws proposed, hopefully ya'll up there in the great north will be able to get them to reconsider.
