I've got a 1988 extended cab ranger. The bed side is jacked up. Is a regular cab ranger bed 1982-92 a direct fit? Thanks in advance

Yes - with cavaet that it is short bed regular cab aka 6' bed. There is also long bed regular cab aka 7' bed. But 7' bed is rare.

Technically, any bed from '83 to '11 is direct fit, but the '93 to '11 have different panel lines (looks weird)

Not sure if you could see the pic but it's a short bed extended cab. I basically didn't know if the regular cab an extended cab short beds were the same. I know a 90's Nissan extended cab an a regular cab beds were different. We tried to swap one they were a few inches off.

There is no difference in 83-92 shortbeds between regular and extended cabs.

IIRC there are some very minor, eaisly overcame differences with the fuel filler and tailllight wireing...but dont quote me

Keep the stock tail light wire harness and you are good to go, I think they changed the bulb type in mid '90... the filler neck is fuel tank specific so keep the stock neck and you are fine there too...
