I have been looking for a vacuum leak for awhile now. Just noticed the hose from the canister purge valve is collapsed while the truck is running. I have looked on all the major auto parts stores and I can not locate this hose. The truck is a 2000 2.5 ford ranger. A part number or a proper name for this hose would be helpful. I have pictures I can post when I get home to the computer

Should be able to cut your own length of standard vacuum hose to fit, even if you're replacing a molded hose.

Most auto parts stores sell a flexible rubber "fuel line" that's stout enough to serve as vacuum hose. You just need to know a diameter and length.

Badkus, take the old line in, and let them compare it to their inventory.

Spott was correct, and a flexible fuel line should fit nicely. Don't forget to get any hose clamps while you're there!

What everyone has said is true. That's when i done to mine. That being said when it comes to hose clamps if you have a Lowes or any hardware store near by get them there. I'm cheap i suppose. You can get i think a 4 pack for $2 or so compared to what the parts stores want.
