Gotta love the bubble side trucks. My 72 is in worse shape but the paint job leads you to think it's actually kind of a nice POS.
I've got the urge to swap an 8 lug D44 under it and a divorced transfer case.
Keep up the build and give this 39 year old truck the love and abuse it diserves.
Oh yea, this truck has gotten tons of "love". I practically grew up in this truck, I remember being 4 years old and riding with my dad plowing out the back roads because PennDot doesn't plow us out usually. And even though it doesn't look perfect, it's come a long way. I actually had to talk my dad into keeping the truck, I made a deal with him that I would do all the work on it to make it road worthy; which included a complete exhaust, complete brake system, re-did alot of rotten wiring, alot of rad support patching, new fuel pump and rebuilt carb, new rims/"new" tires, and for kicks, a eclipse head unit and 4 walmart quality speakers...not that you can hear it over the exhaust. I'll eventually sand it all down and paint it rattle can black, just so it's one solid color, but for now, it'll do lol. And I'll be taking this baby mudding with some friends pretty soon, I have a friend with a 81 Chevy with a rebuilt 350, and he's convinced he'll be pulling me out, and I beg to differ...he's got street radials and busted auto hubs, I think I'll be fine
