Did the Holly come with wiring instructions? Rangers n bronco II's came from factory without a/c but those fan boxes are hard to find. I read a build thread a few days ago showing how he did it, I'll see if I can find a link to his thread.

You have 2 options for the fan box.
In my opinion,
You can use a heat gun and an oil filter get it really hot and roll it back and forth pushing hard. Or you can cut the corner out get some sheet metal form it in the shape of a oil filter and glue it in place. I used metal and rtv. To seal it after 2 scews. Obviously this wasn't very high on my priorities so I just slapped it together.

The old engine

What motor mounts and headers did you end up going with, and how much modifying if any to the headers if you don't mind me asking?

I put a holley sniper on my 99 ranger 347. First unit was faulty out of the box, took some back n forth with holley, but I ended up with a new unit. Still running the self learning tune. Will get it tuned after I get some heads n a bigger cam. It was a big upgrade to the expo ecu o had before. Take your time with wiring. Put it in looms, separate important signal wires away from main power wires. Use quality connections, and make sure battery, charging system, and grounds are in very good working order. Holley has a forum page on their site, lots of good reads on there
