Getting married next year and the fiancee said to finish up the ranger and figured the v8 swap would be the last big thing done to her for awhile. After the v8 will be moving in with her hopefully find a better job then buy an exploder and so on and so forth.
Sucks to hear that you got rid of the ranger, we never got to race the two.
BTW got a facebook?
Update: Not really much of an update but did sell a spare Duraspark dizzy to a memeber in Texas and just got the check so I will go put that in the bank and get a few parts for the swap, or maybe gas for the truck since the price has dropped and now it is hovering there, $3.26 a gallon, cant call that low but it is what it is.
The engine is almost ready itself. Go to get the water neck on along with the bypass hose (need to buy the hose), put the pilot bearing on along with the flywheel and clutch then slap the transmission on and in therory it should be ready for being put in when I get the old set out. Oh ya I need to nab the vaccum tree off my 2.8 and figure out and accelerator cable bracket for the intake. As for a carb, still have one lined up, just need to buy it and hope like hell it will work, got rebuilt already but never tested.
Need to fab up and engine stand that will allow the trans to be on the engine and whatnot.
