im at 112,000 on a '93. it had 60,000 on it when i bought it 4 years ago. someone in the military must have owned it, had a windsheild pass for peterson a.f.b. and a colorado dealership badge on the tailgate. looks real good on the outside but plenty rusty underneath. runs real good, had to put intake gaskets on it last spring. gets 19 at best 15 in the winter and about 12 with this high-roof trailer. i should upgrade to a 1/2 ton or bronco. but this is paid for and will get the job done.

181k on my 4.0, and it leaks oil like a sieve (anybody else noticing oil leaking directly through the valve covers? :dntknw:)

Are your valve covers rusted through? I had a valve cover gasket leaking a couple of years ago. When I fixed it the cover looked a little rusty. I have seen a couple of Ford oil pans from the mid '90s rust through.

113k on my 94 4x4. Coolant is murky, rusty i think, need to flush it. Ticks under heavy acceleration. Runs good though.

That picture looks quite similar to my setup. I'm at about 214K. It's leaking a bit of oil around the valve covers but not bad, I'll get new gaskets soon. With 29" all-terrain tires and 3.55 gears I saw 24 mpg consistantly. I'm hitting about 17-18 mpg with the current setup.

This one got a low of 8.5 mpg and a high of nearly 15 mpg on the move from Michigan down to Jacksonville, FL mileage got better the further south I went.

218,000 miles on my '95. New alternator, power steering pump, idler pulley, carrier bearing (extended cab - two piece driveshaft), wheel bearings, fuel pump, etc... nothing major and she's been paid off for years.

Doesn't use any oil, but I'm starting to notice a little seeping from where the oil filter mounting bracket bolts to the block. I suppose I need to look into that.

I bought her in '98 with 50,000 on the clock. As they say, she doesn't owe me a dime.
