I have an 88 ranger 2.9l 4x4. I recently put 1" taller springs and shocks on because i could not find a leveling kit for it. it now sits level but I cant get a good alignment on it now because the axel pivot sits to high. I work in a weld and machine shop and was thinking about just manufacturing a simple drop bracket for it an 1" longer out of 1/4" mild steel. From what I've read that might not be a good idea. I use the truck for farm use and towing snowmobiles up into the high country.
Any suggestions would be great!
Thanks.
