I'm in the process of getting a lowering kit for the 97 2x4.
I know i'll have to do an alignment, but is there enough adjustment in the ranger suspension system to compensate for a 3-4 drop or will i need to get some special parts to allow for a proper alignment?
Thanks

My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
Depends on the lowering kit.

If you don't have time to do it right will you have time to do it over?
My 93 has dropped I beams and the rear end sits on the springs. When I looked at it to buy, it was in a car trailer and I didn't realize it was lowered. I replaced the axle pivot bushings and ball joints and stuck the dropped beams back in rather than try to find some stock I beams. With the dropped I beams, the alignment is set to factory specs, obviously except for ride height.
