i have to say in short term minimalist day trips the co2 is ok.
its all on intended use like most things we do.
to keep everything pristine and leak free as far as couplers and lines and air tools go...not to mention major use of air tools, there is no way i would want only a powertank. i would like both of course ideally as the pt can remotely be used and in some trail disaster situations or a situation where your engine is down, the pt really shines.
but in my experience, it is severely limited for the repairs i have done over the years. you sure as hell wouldnt roof or frame a house with one.
