Yota rear springs from an 85 pickup I have a feeling there going to be to soft and will need a few extra leaves added but it seems to be what most of them run. There going to be mounted short end forward since there offset and shackle on the front.

Sittin on its own weight all it needs now are:
tires, front shocks, front brake lines, and gears installed. I took it for a test drive on the 32s just for kicks and there was a huge sigh of releif when it drove down the road.

Edit: shackle angle looks a bit steep in this photo I back up the rear mount a 1/2" to fix it just havent taken a new photo.

Meh there overrated... Lol.

Actually my old man got his greasy paws on a 429 Im thinking bout snagging off him for a v8 swap. Doubt it would fit without removing the front clip (devilish grin)

Hmm I never did post up any pics of this thing wheeling.... well here you go.

Since Ive posted Ive had good luck and bad with the truck. Ive bent a few leafs springs (front shackle has its downsides) broke a few driveshafts, and broke out a window.

Its been a great truck though and works despite the leaf springs lack of flex lol. Ive still trying to keep my ear open for a 302/c4 or c6/ and np205 case but its always when your looking for something that you cant find them.

Nice ever think of doing a shackle reversal with liquid iron sliders? I jumped my sammi today and bent both front leaves so im thinkin when i replace them i may as well do a shackle reversal too

Thinking about it, Im midget on the miobi board I came over here to check your build and realized I started one for my X and hadnt updated it in a long time.

Ive thought about shackle reversal but it would be ALOT of work the way this frame is and I would have to be about 4" higher or cut through the frame right where it bends and Im not a big fan of that.

If the suspension changes at all from here its going to be 1 linked front and rear for simplicity bc as it sits now it rides smooth and has enough flex to do what I like.

I need to disc the rear yet and lock the front and then maybe a v8 swap but its on the back burner until I find another job.
