I wonder if they started with an MGC? It had the bulge hood. That one looks to be early to mid 70's with the three wipers. I've seen Rover v-8's in MG's but I can't imagine the rear end holding up.

That is one clean looking swap! Sure anyone going that far would have taken care of the rear end/trans. That's got to suprise some people.

Thanks....

Reminds me of my old car, just without the SHO.
Sorry!

Maybe this will be some inspiration to get another one back on the road....:icon_thumby:

I knew a guy who took a SHO V-8 and trans and dropped the sucker in a 98 Taurus wagon. Got him some Mustang GT brakes up front and some 18" volvo rims, that sucker was one BAMF ho-runner. Too bad Trent wasn't the kinda guy who could ever get any action.

Moron traded it straight up for an 83 fox body that he probably could have gotten for $500.

That would be a pretty good sleeper. Like the people that put LS-1 vette motors in Volvo 240's. Beware the 240's with dual exhaust!

That's pretty cool, I bet it took some work to get the SHO v6 rwd.

The 32 valve uses the 3.8L bellhousing pattern from what I remember so the thunderbird trans will work.

the 24 valve uses the 3.0L bellhousing.
