I finally found a cheap EB Dana 44 with 4.09's already in it, but it is drum brake (it does have ball joints not kingpins though).

My question is, Will TTB Dana 44 knuckles fit on the EB axle? I haven't looked too close, but it looks like the ball joint spacing may be diff.

Im pretty sure the TTB hub, rotor, stub axle, and spindle will bolt to a SAS Dana 44 knuckle, but I need everything regardless and TTB D44's seem to be more abundant.

Pretty sure the spacing is different.

I will probably investigate further on Monday when Im back up a school and I have time to go to the local JY and do some research. I need to measure the RA's on the EB axle again too. I have bean dragging my feet trying to decide if I want to snag the EB axle or not, but when I took a closer look at it the other day and saw the axle tag said 4.09 on it I made my decision. Its at a local JY buried in a back row with tree growing through it, so I dont have to worry about getting away.lol I talked to the owner and he said he will bring the Bronco up front and drop the axle when ever I decide to pick it up.

Josh40461 has ttb 44 knuckles on his f150 44. I don't know if the 150 and eb inner c's are different. I have a 150 44 in my garage, I cant grab some measurements for you to compare to the eb if you'd like.

You may already know this, but the eb 44 uses smaller 5-260 jointed shafts, smaller than d35/44 5-297/760. its like $500 for new shafts, which is why i went with the 150 setup. That, and I don't want to run wheel adapters.

google Mr.n's dana 44 page, lots of good info.

Josh used the spindles, hubs and rotors from the TTB. He already had disc brake knuckles for the straight axle. Im going from drum, thats where my issue is. Im not worried about getting bigger joint shafts. All I need it the stub axles from what ever 150 I grab the knuckles off of and the short side axle from a Dodge D44. The only tricky shaft will be the long side.

For the long side you can go aftermarket or have a stock 760 shaft chopped and splined. Dutchman offers that service.

Hope I'm not feeding you info you already know, just tryin to help.
