nope!! truck is still sitting on blocks. work got in the way and havent touched it since march... not happy about that!! things should start rolling again in the next few weeks and hoping to have it on the road by winter/spring.

as for mason, i believe any year from late 80s-90s will work. It just needs to be out of the v8 not the 6 cyl. bc of the bellhousing pattern, if you go onto 4btswaps.com you can search the trans sticky because i cant remember off the top of my head right now.

Im using a 97, but they sent me one from a 6 cyl engine and the bellhouse doesnt line up correctly to the adapter plate. close but not exact, didnt really bother me so i ran with it. i am using a divorced np205, but the f150 t case should work fine.

I didn't ask for your life story, just answer the question!

I already told you... You have a mod motor trans. The windsor and the 3.8/4.2l v6 have the same bolt pattern. The mod motor bolt pattern is close. (the top 2 bolts and one other line up, the other 3 dont.)

Well it has been a long ass time! so time for an update or 2. Progress has started back up on the build, work kept me from doing anything to it but I finally found someone I trust to finish it for me. Had to ditch the M5OD and divorced 205 case, Now it will run a ZF5-42 and a married 205. Also went with FOA 12" coil overs in the front and ditching the leafs. Finally the steering is going to an outer frame rail 150 box to possibly tap down the road for hydro assist :headbang: Whenever I can get to the guys shop and he's got things mocked up ill snag some pics for you picture whores out there!

I'll try to remember to bring the 205 home this weekend.

You want to drill and tap the box before you install it... We can put fittings in and cap them. I should have the fittings at work. That way if you go hydro later, you dont need to pull the box back out.

That was actually what I was thinking. The box is down in Chatsworth, Hoping to have time early next week to go grab it. How long you think it will take to drill and tap it?

IDK... drilling and tapping is the quick part... it will take longer to pull it all apart and reassemble it.

I keep going back to this build and it never gets old. Im going to eventually do a 4BT swap when I get the chance. I found one up here for sale in Maine with a tranny for 2k but had back surgery recently so it put me out of the running. Keep updating with pics and keep me inspired!

Things have been slow with work and I have a local shop doing all of my suspension work and they have yet to start it. Hoping for some progress to start next month and be driving it before winter

Did you twin stick the "new" 205 yet?

I was going to stop by the other day. I was at the school to pick up my daughter. By the time she was done playing on the swings, you were already gone.

Sub'd. You need some money into the motor since you're not going to wheel it. The 4bt's can be pretty nasty little powerhouses with a little money into them.
