Well, I went out and gave it another shot. . .don't know what the problem was yesterday, but I got 415 ohms on the front passenger ABS sensor and 404 ohms on the front driver passenger ABS sensor. . .

. . .couldn't get a reading on the rear ABS speed sensor so I'm guessing that is the culprit. . .I will grab the rear sensor off that 2000 Mountaineer Saturday morning and see what happens. . .if the Mountaineer sensor doesn't fix it I will go ahead and grab a new one and see what happens, if that fixes it. . .good, if not, well then back to the drawing board. . .

Sounds like it's the rear sensor for sure.

I tried the "new" used sensor and the light didn't go away. . .so I bought a new sensor and the truck side of the QD harness broke. . .so now I'm waiting to get back out to my friends house to grab that side of the connector so that I can put the new sensor in and see if that fixes the problem.

I'll post up when I do and let you guys know what happens.

I fixed the ABS light this weekend. . .I spliced a new harness side quick disconnect fitting into my harness (because the old was brittle and broke disconnecting the old ABS sensor) and put a new ABS sensor on. . .

. . .voila, no more ABS light and I have ABS again!

Thanks for the help!
