My 94 horn stopped working all of a sudden, checked fuse,horn,changed horn,wth,no cruise control, HELP

No horn relay if there are no cruise buttons on steering wheel

Clockspring wire could be bad, or the switch itself

No airbag on 1994 Ranger and with no cruise should be easy enough to remove the cover and test for 12volts at the switch

Worse comes to worse, you could try running 2 temporary test jumper wires (a negative and a positive wire) from the battery directly to the horn, be careful doing it. I trouble shoot that way often. It works out for me much better, going right to the source. I'm not sure horns really go bad, it never happened to me on any of my vehicles. My horns always seemed to work. I'm thinking your issue is definitely electrical,, perhaps a relay, a fuse, or loose wire connection etc Try the jumper wires first.

But where is horn switch located

The horn switch is in the center pad piece. Remove two Phillips from the back of the steering wheel spokes and then rotate the pad upwards.

If so, the 2 wires on the back of the pad are for your horn switch. Should be able to test them with a multimeter or test light and battery. If everything else is working, touching those 2 wires together would cause the horn to blow.

I wouldn't be surprised to find that the pins going to the pancake ring (the circles on the back of the steering wheel) are gummed up and not making contact. I would try to find the wires farther down the column before taking the wheel off tho.

Hi I have taken the whole front off steering wheel pad apart, have seen no switch

One wire is 12volts IN, full time, not just with key on
Other wire is 12volts OUT to the horn

"The switch" can be two larger metal plates, with insulators between them and the upper plate will tilt/move to make contact with lower plate which connects the two wires and sounds the horn
