Pretty awesome day. Finally stopped in Charleston, MO. Had a brief visit to Metropolis to see Superman. Crossed the Ohio River and Mississippi River (in the dark). Avoided colliding with 11 deer, 1 rabbit and 1 groundhog. Rode in 6 different US states and several mental states. Once, when I stopped on an off-ramp to stretch and let the blood flow in my butt, a Harley rider stopped the make sure I was OK.

We are here, tent is up and it is the wind is blowing like crazy. No rain and the ground is dry so that's nice. Awesome facility too.

We figured the weather would be less than ideal and we would roll in late so the plan was to go out for supper. Found a really good Mexican place in Seymour.

You guys have a blast. We made it down to the AVR last night. It's raining and in the low 60s so not bad. Rain is supposed to pass through within the hour though. So I'll just wait it out sipping coffee under the canopy.

It's chilly and breezy this morning. I've hired a chef to make up a breakfast skillet for me with eggs, hashbrowns, ham, sausage and mushrooms. Then it will be time to hit the road. I have about 3 1/2 hrs til I reach SMORR.

Good thing I brought this nice long-sleeved shirt to take the chill off.

Waiting for a tow to the nearest parts dealer. Chain broke. Lots if "zoomy-zoomy". But no "go-go".

Might better buy two... or at least some repair parts/tools to keep in the repair kit.

One of the reasons I wanted to go was to check out the Ironman booth. I really wanted to check out some of their offerings. Specifically their straight awnings.

If any of you happen to see them there... if you have a minute... maybe check the build quality of the awnings. They have good reviews... but seeing is believing.

Curious Hound (Lite) has arrived and is set up. Feels good to sit and relax for a minute. @85_Ranger4x4 , @Mrs. Eighty Five and Oliver are in the park checking out a trail that comes up behind our tents. I should see them again shortly. No motorcycles allowed in the park. So I can't rude in there on 2 wheels. I need to adjust tension on my new chain tonight or tomorrow, now that it has some miles on it. I think the shop left it fairly loose, too. But with these bikes, the general rule of thumb is "A slappy (loose) chain is a happy chain.
