My credo
Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.
Looks great! I like that color.
Thanks! The color has really grown on me. Still kinda flashy.. but damn it's nice in the sun.

Those new wheels and tires look just perfect
I agree! Next time we have a comfortable day up here I'm gonna channel my inner you and give it a good waxing lol. Gonna forego the clay bar since I really don't want to buff it.. I'll chemically decontaminate instead.

Eh.. don't expect too much lol. It was realistically way TF too hot today to be trying to talk about anything on camera haha.

Going wheelin Sunday though.. so hopefully I can put something more entertaining together soon

Video from our trip Sunday.

Gas tank skid plate did its job on a few occasions.. hung up on lower links a couple times.. Definitely want to get skids for the lower link mounts on the frame.. and probably the rear diff after that good hit 😶

Definitely forgot to take off the side steps before we went... they got dragged across some crap pretty good but held up awesome! Would of been able to get between some stuff MUCH easier if they were off... Still planning on replacing that whole setup with real deal sliders.. once budget permits.

Activating "Rock Crawl" Goat mode would be a lot cheaper/easier and is pretty close.

My son is thinking about a Bronco. Can't blame him either.

Installed a Curt hitch today.. super easy.. muffler delete made it easier lol. 4 bolts and done.

Still need to buy/Install the lighting harness.. apparently there are some plug&play options nowadays that don't require splicing..

My nephew works for Ford. He bought a 2d Bronco for his son. My son, however, makes more money than I do. He can easily afford to buy his own. But he's also thinking about a Maverick. He just needs to make up his mind.

(Finally) registered the Bronco this morning. 1090$ -__- straight robbery.

Test fit the spare to make sure I opened up the hub bore enough... I did.... and I did a damn good job for just using a grinder lol 😆

Took it down the road, up to 50mph. No shimmys, shakes, or wiggles... good enough!

While the spare was off I got around to Installing the 3rd brake light extention...

....and of course it touches the rear wiper arm 🙄

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

Ordered up some tax time goodies for the Bronc the other day, yahooooo!

Stinkyfab skidplates.. front bash guard, under motor, and under t-case. 3/16 zinc coated steel. 650$ for the set iirc.. wicked good deal imo. Super excited to get them on.

Also got a Turn Offroad half rack for the roof. I almost went with the dv8 full rack.. as the price of all the available half racks are a bit ridiculous.. but the dv8 full rack doesn't allow removal of the front roof panels.. which I do enjoy doing.

Just leave the roof panels off. Problem solved!
