I stopped by Summit Racing on my way home from NY last week and glanced through the ole clearance section..
Scored a 5x5.5 15x10 Mickey Thompson and 25' of flexy flare for $50 bucks total.
Found a brand new 38.5 TSL for less than half of new so I picked it up to replace the one in my set that had some dry rot and a cut (still held air) Threw it on the bead lock and Ill throw the old one on my pretty new MT for a spare.
Old one..
My first order showed up...I can say RCV has some of the best customer service in the industry. They are willing to work with customers for sure and not try to upsell you every chance they get. I cant say the same for Yukon though...they ignore emails, don't return calls, and just are not helpful overall.
Picked these up cheap...Superior Super 88 semi-float shafts. I did some digging and found that even though Superior is out of business, the Yukon Ultimate 88 kit is a 100% knock off of their kit. Im trying to locate the rest of the parts, but I may just buy a new kit and use these shafts, then keep the others for spares.
I sold my Kevlars and rims, so I currently have no street tires, but it should motivate me to go through with my plan for 37s and bigger rims..and I got to help a fellow wheeler out in a pinch to get him back on the trails with a new Kevlar
That's all I got for now.
