Yep, that's dad's 97, and it is a clean truck, very well maintained. Well, I almost get the front end done, had to go out tonight and guess what, another F%*^#n deer ran out in front of me, this time taking out the entire passenger front corner. So I guess its time to do that 11 ranger front end. Pics tomorrow...

$25, and I had to add $5 for shipping. Trust me, I'm barely breaking even. I'm not trying to make $$$ on these, just helping out fellow TRS brothers. BTW, if you can post up pics of the ones you got from me, that'd be great. There's another thread that someone was curious what they look like and I don't have any pics...

SVT
Nah it's not the price, that was great and thanks again. :icon_thumby: It's just that he just called me "kid" :annoyed:

And yeah give me a few minutes I'll take some pix right quick...

I already scuffed them up a little bit, just making sure that they'd fit. And they did, nicely. :icon_thumby:

Thanks for the pics. As far as bambi goes, the first got away with just ringing his bell. The one from tonight not so lucky, I didn't even slow down (since the roads were wet from it just starting to rain here) and I know he's walking on his two front legs since there's nothing left to his back half of his body. Completely busted the headlight, nothing left of the corner light, header panel smashed and bent back, fender is bent pretty good. Will most likely need two passenger fenders (one 99+ ranger, one sport trac), definitely need header panel, lights, and possibly grille....

I think I'm going for the 2011 ranger front clip this time...

Next Day? What you mean the next day? I got the lights and grille installed early that morning. That evening (last night) I got a call that my dad was stranded coming home from work, so I grabbed some desiel, desiel additive and hit the road. I was doing about 50-55 when I hit the deer. It just started raining, so my options were hit the brakes and/or swerve, which means I'd be in the ditch from the slick streets, or just hold her straight. Didn't have much of choice on that one really. But yeah, it sucks! I plan to build an offroad bumper similar to the fab fours bumper for protection from things like this, only out of aluminum for weight savings since it is my DD...

I think what the ST wants is a Mountaineer grille. :D

I really really like this look (minus the slammed part).
