I have the whole sheet metal from a 75 Mustang II you could use on your truck, give it that "what the hell" look.

Not much of an update. Been burning up the roads and working on a drivetrain for D-ranged, working on project skipper (the supercharged 5.0 jeep), rebuilding a 400 ex (customer), and building a dump trailer. I did pick up a brand new hood for an 07 ranger. Still need to get the header panel, grille and fenders...

Good to see you're still at it! In regards to the supercharger on the 5.0, have you considered using an intercooler setup at all? I have seen liquid cooled intercoolers mounted between the lower intake and the supercharger that don't seem to take up that much space but then again, that was only in the pics that were posted. May be a different story with the motor in place to check hood fitment. I am working up to swapping over a 2000 mounty 5.0 (bought the donor) to my 01 ext cab ranger edge and recently bumped into an m90 in the junkyard that just begged me to take her home. In that sense, I really appreciate your attention to detail to say the least..

Real interested in your progress, so this is my subscription lol. Keep it up man!!

Thanks. In regards to the intercooler, the jeep is only going to be running 5 psi, so its not an issue. My track's setup however, will be way higher, and the water to air intercooler has already been thought of, and is in the design phase. It'll be setup very similar to the lightning and cobra setups. The adapter will house the intercooler, but the adapter for my Trac will be different. I've decided to use an f150 lower intake as it has larger runners than the GT40, allowing more air to be stuffed into the motor. Project ss minow (supercharged jeep) is done for now, will return in a few weeks for suspension work and possibly axle swaps. The blue jeep I did a 5.0 swap on is back due to real low oil pressure after sucking a lot of water through the intake. Turns out the rods and main bearings were scared, reducing oil pressure to the rest if the motor, causing lifter tick at idle. D-ranged is currently getting a V8, trans and Tcase installed as we speak (check out josh's D-ranged thread for updates) as well as a new removable core support. Also have a blazer in the shop for a motor swap, then SVT will come in to get him going for an upcoming show, and I hope to squeeze in ST somewhere to finish the 11 front clip install...

I wanted to thank you for your detailed build threads. I copied your way of soldering that you wrote about in one of your threads and that has helped me immensely in my neon motor swap.
Thanks,

Richard

On the AC pressure cutoff switch did you use the 4.0 plug and pigtail an extend the wires to fit the 5.0 ac line to the condenser?

IIRC, I didn't have to extend the harness as both switches were in the same spot, and used the same type of plug, so that part was plug n play. I am going to do the EATC swap, and have most of the parts...

Ok thanks I was curious cause it looked like on the 4.0 the high pressure switch was on back of the ac compressor, were on the 5.0 it was on the line going to the condenser. The EATC is a nice swap, also when you disabled PATS, did you have to ground the starter relay, I noticed the ST PCM grounds the starter relay for PATS E where on the EX 5.0 the relay itself is grounded.

It was that way on my 96 ranger, I just cut and extended the plug wires...
