I have a Stampede VXL, and might be getting a Summit. This summer i might buy a Hobbyzone Super Cub LP and a flight simulator and try out flying, and my uncle has a helicopter that he only used a few times, that i might try and buy off him for cheap when i get the simulator.

i got a Savage 25 with an STS .28 in it, aluminum control arms, C-hubs etc. t-maxx 2.5 tires and rims, savage x 4.6 shocks, 35wt shock oil, 120,000wt diff oil etc. i've got probably like $800-$1000 just in upgrades.

also got an Axial SCX10 trail ready, removed rock sliders and thinking about removing shock bump stops and front bumper. dont have any pics of it yet.

I got a Summit for Christmas. It's so much more fun than my stampede. I already was driving it in my yard, it just sucks getting stuck and walking through 3 feet of snow.

the summit is a great truck, ( the 1/10th scale version is anyway. the 1/18th is a joke.)

Jay, do you know of any other good RC forums? I can't agree with you more on the Traxxas ones, getting a little lame over there.

Yeah, tell me about it. I learned a lot over there, but it's just not an enjoyable place to be around.

I'm on URC exclusively at the the moment. http://www.ultimaterc.com/forums/ It's a nice forum with some knowledgeable people. It has sub-forums for every brand of R/C though, so the Traxxas-specific forums don't see nearly the same volume of posts as the Traxxas forum (obviously).

URC is worth checking out. If you find any other good forums, let me know.
