I'm not certain your mechanical knowledge or ability but a good inspection would tell a trained mechanic what he needs to know about what's going on in there, and its cause
You'd have to pull the intakes, and onward to the heads until you found the source

Got recommended a shop by the tow truck driver and well says I need a new motor. Head gasket went and coolant in oil and bunch of other stuff $2000 in just labor cost to fix. And asked another shop how much for rebuild/ reman engine and install and they said $7500. So think I'm gonna sit on it for a while and save up to switch it out to a 4.0l sohc engine.

You would be better off going with a 4.0 OHV engine. More compatible with what you have than the SOHC.

Oh okay. And my buddy made a fair point he said did the shop guy say why I needed a new motor or what not. And all the shop guy said was head gasket blew and coolant in the oil.

Swapping an engine is easier than repairing one. The shop either doesn’t want to do the work or there is more profit in it for them doing a swap rather than a repair. Plus, it will take more time to repair than swap. Time is money and a lot of times getting a vehicle done faster so the next one can come in makes more money than working on a more extensive project on just one vehicle.

Oh makes sense. Well gonna probably get it towed to my house and have it sit in my garage for a bit. Where would I find a 4.0 ohv engine and compatible transmission?

Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.
What do you mean?
He means that if it was caught soon enough, the coolant in the oil isn't to the percentage yet where it's going to ruin your bearings.. and you can just get away with headgaskets & whatever else instead of replacing the entire thing.

Heres what i would do...

Drain the oil out of it

Replace the headgaskets/heads (if they are cracked)

Refill with fresh oil/filter

Drive 3 or 400 miles

Change oil again

Drive 1000-1500 miles

Change oil again.

Then resume your normal oil change schedule.

A shop cant tell you without a teardown how much damage has been done to the rods/mains.

If you are going to let it sit, drain the oil and put fresh oil in it so the coolant contaminating the old oil doesn’t make the internals rusty and make things worse.

Actually maybe drain the antifreeze, dump in fresh oil, let it run 2 or 3 minutes then leave it sit.
